What Is A Birth Doula?
Traditionally, Doulas were the sisters and the aunties who held space and supported the birthing mother as she brought forth new life, hence the saying, “it takes a village to raise a child". Doula was not a profession but a way of life. Fast forward through westernized medicine where the Doula role was removed and replaced by "trained medical professionals,” white coats set out to make a buck off this sacred right of passage.
Becoming a Doula is not something a woman learns but something she remembers from deep within her feminine roots. We are all generations of many successful birth stories. Together we all are rewriting the script, one generation at a time.
I believe so deeply in the power we hold as women and that we are channels to life, bringing forth the future. I believe reclaiming our power in one of the biggest rights of passage is the way we will change the world, one birth at a time. As a sister, I trust, respect, and honor women and the innate wisdom we each carry, and support the embodiment of gifts we are inherently worthy of expressing.

As your Doula, I will remind you of your inner strength. It is your body, your birth, your baby, your choice- my goal is to help you have an amazing experience as YOU define it. I am here to support you and your partner physically as well as emotionally before, during, and after labor. I have an intimate knowledge of childbirth while your partner has an intimate knowledge of you. Together, we make a perfect team to help you have a happier birth.

Doula Services
Full Doula Package~ $1,200
- 3 visits to discuss pregnancy, birth, and postpartum preparation and any additional information you may request. Visits can be done in-person, virtual, or over the phone.
- Attendance at 1 prenatal appointment with your care provider
- Communication between appointments so we can stay connected
- Phone/email support throughout your pregnancy
- On call from 38 weeks on, 24/7 (and back-up Doula support, if needed)
- Physical labor & delivery support
- Communication with your birth team to make sure your birth plan wishes are upheld
- Support immediately following postpartum
- 1-2 postpartum visits to check-in & help with anything you may need- debriefing your birth story, watching baby while you nap, making a good meal, cleaning, or doing laundry
- Phone/email support postpartum
Prenatal Meetings~ $25/hour
Building a relationship is important to me. We will go over pregnancy, birth, and postpartum information, create your emotional & on-paper birth plan, address fears and concerns, answer questions around labor and labor support, gather resources for other birth professionals, and/or be a companion at your prenatal care provider visits. Consider me your go-to for information and support pre-labor
Labor & Delivery Support~ $400
This option is for labor & delivery support only. We will have an initial meeting to go over your birth plan, questions, concerns. Then you let me know when you’re going into labor and I’ll be there with all my support!
Postpartum Meetings~ $25/hour
I'm here for you with anything you need. This service may involve us debriefing your birth, cooking/meal prep, cleaning, shopping, or even babysitting while you get some rest or take an herbal bath soak that comes with this option. I can also provide resources for lactation or postpartum issues by request.
